We Care About Reliability
Big Sandy RECC members want reliable power. Power outages are caused mostly from fallen trees, limbs and debris. Cutting and clearing right of way is one of the crucial keys to providing reliable electric service. Big Sandy Forestry was established to meet this need.
We Have a Plan
Big Sandy RECC has a comprehensive program to manage vegetation around power lines on the 1,000 miles of distribution right of ways. Keeping trees and other vegetation away from aerial lines is very important for our member commitment of reliability.
